This is one of my favourite interiors designed cause the way the have captured the vintage element of the pop spirt of the 80s so well.

it all has a very Cubism sort of feel towards it.

Bee In The Butterfly Cafe Hexham Newcastle

This was a live brief for a customer that owned a cafe in Hexham that was moving in to a new exciting building that was a postoffice.

The owner asked for a area that she can hosted talks about her travelling and to talk to people that were deciding to travel . thats why i have used very simple furniture so it could be easily rearranged.

They exciting build had very little lighting and gave a very dull atmosphere. thats why I used bright blues  on the wall with a wave pattern wall paper on the one side to give the building a more vibrant fresh feeling.

                                     
I gave the wall behind the sofa a stencilled world map in different shades of blue so the cafe had a connection to the owner cause of her travelling experience
